The best I find is a "fitted cover" and The NSN lookup says nothing.
PartTarget and a bunch of others are all the same.
I would love for somebody to School Me in how it works.
It almost seems like Microsoft runs that operation. You know, where technically they give the answer - but that...

Everything here is that way - and in the big city of Charlotte - it is even more!
An extra half cent for "Uncle Roy" who is a lot like Uncle Sam.
Taxes: How much money did you earn? Great, send it in!
Is that "Monroe" in your location NC?
.
Wow!
That is a pretty severe case of "the creeping crud" for sure!
And it is soft enough that you can fulsh it away with Brake Parts Cleaner?
If so, it sure is better than a few I have seen (gummy and hard to remove).
Looks like you have a heck of a project on your hands!
.
It really is nice for a project to be easy or easier than expected!
I like your drain pan. It looks big enough to catch everything all at once.
I'm with you on the same weight of oil in the motor and transmission. No need to change it out because it was happy when it was working for the...

I think that is the most difficult thing about using generators to power a house or building. Most folks really want (expect?) the same thing they have coming in off the street. While that is possible, you need large deep pockets to make that happen!
As you mentioned dav5 , MANAGING the...
.
That's great news!
Sure is nice when something gets fixed without having to fix something else as a part of the process.
Even better that your "Soldier 2" (WIC aka Wife In Charge) was willing to come out and help...
.
Would love to hear what they come up with.
AND really hope that you can see what is going on.
Some folks will - others won't and it is a crap shoot at best.
.
Well, sometimes it is better to stop before something gets worse...
Any chance that you can go somewhere that will let you stand and watch?
So you can build your skills?
.
Agreed! Don't throw in the towel just yet.
It might be that the one light that wouldn't has a short in it and now it is killing the rest of the circuit.
Remember, those two lights don't make the truck run. They are "fluff". Let's work on it a little more.

Replying about this site and slow... No not really. I am on a desktop more often than a phone. Only time this site seems to be slow is when the browser is about to "hack up a hairball" and a restart brings it back. That is rare too just fyi!
.
Generally on the wheel bearings you are looking for "pits" more than anything. They do look discolored but that may just be the picture. Everybody has an opinion, but if it was my truck - I think I would replace the wheel bearings. I wouldn't be terribly concerned about the spindle scuffs...
.
Thinking that when used long term, load balancing and a prewired set of circuits would be a big plus. Even standing there looking at a breaker panel most folks have no idea which leg of a curcuit comes from which buss bar.
Running a smaller generator to feed a house with a 200 amp service is...

Unless I missed it somewhere, This is a Deuce, M35 / M37 or similar truck?
That bearing should have stayed in the drum / spyder behind the grease seal.
Unless I miss my guess. The clue for me was that you said "race looks overheated" - and that would possibly make the bearing want to stick...
