The M35A2's were (IMHO) the most bullet proof truck the military ever bought.
They could, and did, take a lot of abuse from soldiers that drove them.
I started driving them in 74 and they were still in the inventory in 07 when I retired.
Quite a run for an old steel soldier.
The A3's were a...
Redstone is at Huntsville.....they are now a regional sales center for vehicles.......and yes our tax dollars are paying to ship the vehicles there.
I bought some deuces from there last year that had been shipped in from up north (Ind, Ohio and Ill,). I had spoken to a driver that was bringing...
I have tenatively set the date for the third Saturday of April (the 16th) pending approval from the parks board. They still have not called me back.....sometimes you just have to take the bull by the horns.
Flea market rules apply (bring your trade goods).
For folks traveling a long distance I...
Just remember that BioD is VERY astringent....it will clean your fuel tank and entire system out....and all the crud will end up in the fuel filters....you will change them several times in a short period of time.
My buddy made his own for a while (and then went to straight Veggie)......he cut...
You could get several boxes on a step deck trailer if he has some way to load them.
They are approx 12'X8'.
Keep us posted on the scrap out....I could also use a box if it is in good condition.
Depending on how many and how big the holes are you might use JB Weld or some other "liquid metal" product.
Another option is "Heliarc" aluminum welding.......but that might be costly:mrgreen:.
I bought a set of bucket seats out of a Dodge Neon for 50 bucks and it was a great investment.
I installed them in my M109 (since sold) and they took a lot of the jarring and bumps out of the ride.
I have a set of air ride Freightliner seats to go in the M915 but there is a lot more room in that...

One time we were having a Command Inspection at the Motor Pool.
It had rained like a cow pissing on a flat rock the night before and we were told NOT TO CRANK any vehicles before the inspection to keep the aforementioned from happening.
All the vehicles had been washed the day before and were...
I will be picking up three crated 5 ton sized axles for a SS member next Tues. at Redstone, AL.
I am installing a deuce dropside bed on my M915 for this mission.
If anyone else needs some small items or a pintle type trailer picked up send me a PM and we'll discuss it.
I got my M275 (deuce tractor) from a logger that was using it for a pull out truck.
It was an ex-fire truck and had suffered much abuse.
The deuce tractors are rare and using one for logging will destroy it eventually.
I would consider getting a 5 ton tractor for logging and restoring the deuce...
