    Jefferson City, MO Any info?

Picking it up Tuesday. My only concern really is that trailer power cable looks too short. I can't find up close pics of one hooked to a 5 ton. Fingers crossed that the trailer is as good as it looks in the pics. Hopefully all the extra parts will be still in the storage compartment like in...

    LED Tail lights replacing incandescent.

When I replaced all mine with LEDs, one tail light set was labeled wrong and did the same thing. A multimeter solved that and I relabeled the wires. Took about an hour for a 10 minute job but all is good now. Don't forget to update your signal flasher to the new style for the LEDs.

Torn passenger axle boot. Need spindle sockets.

If I can find military issue zipper boots I will do that. If I have to go the solid boot route, luckily I have a John Deere tractor and a forklift implement. Also a engine hoist if it needs a finer touch. Have a long recovery next week and the boot repair may have to wait until after that.

Torn passenger axle boot. Need spindle sockets.

Tons of cheap commercial made boots out there but having a hard time finding military issue. Most won't state if it's USA made or not and when I've emailed to ask they don't answer.

M1009 No Start. (GearTeeth Grinding?) (Issue after running out of fuel/refilling)

Does your starter have the support bracket on the front? Lots of threads about how easy it is to tear things up without it. Maybe when you pulled over there was enough of a jolt or bump that shifted it. Just a thought

    What is my M1008 Worth?

I don't know about other branches but every Army Post that I know of has a lot to store boats, RVs, extra cars, etc. No cost that I know of as long as you have PCS orders for that Post. Usually (not always) close to airfield.

Successful road trip and charging fix

Slow but it will get you there. Glad it's working. Yes I Did cringe. Instead of starting another thread, update the one(s) you already have going. It will help way down the road when someone is searching for solutions to the same type issue.

fuel shutoff solenoid on the cummins 8.3

There is a 8mm bolt on the fuel line next to the small water separator/filter. Pump the primer, loosen that bolt and any air will come out. Tighten bolt back up and she should bust right off IF that was the issue. Mine was doing same thing after filter change and no amount of pumping that...

If that's that 40+ minute video on you tube I did watch that. Really looked like a PIA Prefer the sockets over channel-locks

Torn passenger axle boot. Need spindle sockets.

I've read the solid ones are much better and last longer. But geeze it looks like it's gonna be a mother to do that. Zipper ones do ok? Mine has solid ones now. Only passanger side torn. I don't off road so don't know how it happened.

    My 923 keeps ''Rocking""

Bad enough tearing the truck up with you driving. Dont know the background, but letting someone else do it is gonna be very costly.
