Discovered torn axle boot on passenger side.
I have all the tools needed for this except the huge spindle sockets.
Where can I buy these? Local parts places no luck.
Would truck parts stores have them?
Is changing it as bad as it looks?
That is one of the best ideas I've seen for these.
Looks great, very handy, and great craftsmanship!
Even hauling gravel wouldn't affect it.
Well done Sir
Installed a 12v 20A power plug....finally....in the M925A2
Placed it on front of battery box close to drivers seat.
Out of way even for a third rider.
Used 12v power on battery and used inline fuze.
Installed cap upside down so I won't be fighting it while it's in use.
Finally can charge...
No brush guard or shackles.
Big lift and cracked dash.
Tons of other things that will affect value.
The lift and tires are going to narrow any buyers.
Good looking truck, but totally not my style. I like them all original and will/have pay good money for them that way.
Your truck I...
correct.
I have a brand new HMMWV crossover pipe. Just waiting to install for something else that I can replace. A lot of work for just the temp sender location.
Drove 1008 several days above 100 outside.
Never passed 190 and trans never passed 200.
Will have sensor installed in new...
Ah
That makes a difference
Both of mine have them.
You could always loosen the trans pan and let excess run out, but that's a huge mess.
Its that or the dipstick tube. Could also use trans cooler input line to rid the excess.
Will be picking it up with my M925A2 and have current military ID so getting on post shouldn't be an issue.
Looks like some some decent hills in that part of state.
Doing extensive PM for upcoming trip.
Sprayed some lube in a few of these but they still felt gritty when moving them around.
Took one off and found this.
Took the rest off, all 22, and cleaned up each one.
Reinstalled with a good coating of ACF50. Not only Lubes but stops the corrosion...
