Just like anything, take care of it and it will last.
Sounds like they've been trying to kill yours, but it's still surviving.
Drive mine everyday and leave the new duramax parked.
The two spades idea was already suggested and I will do that as a last resort.
Really prefer the intended one. Striking out so far.
I agree that it's a common plug
So common I can't find one and or even a part number.
I also use two-cycle oil at every fill up.
No smoke at all at anytime.
Runs smoother and not as loud.
Have you replaced your air-filter?
Ive read several threads that mentioned lack of enough air might be the culprit for the smoke.
Could also be several other things also, but I would start...
I don't think so
It should be one kinda like the alternator plug pigtail, but Vertical slots instead of horizontal. Simple and doesn't have the gasket seal.
Im still looking
Searched TM's and also found a ton of threads and info for the switch itself.
Have a new ACDelco one on the way.
What I'm needing is a new pigtail for it.

In fact I just bought factory GM window handles on Amazon. Item arrived and was in factory GM box and was made in Canada.
Acdelco Harmonic balancer was made in USA.
Acdelco cold advance switch was made in...
I would return it.
ACDelco still makes them.
I buy a lot of acdelco stuff on Amazon and have had a problem only once.
Was an alternator that was supposed to be delco/remy but clearly was not.
Item returned and Amazon notified of issue and $$ refunded. Hassle free.
Return it and get a...
Well I can't speak for others but I get a solid 18 doing all around driving.
Nothing over 55
Stock 1008 with 235 tires.
Almost 84k on the ticker.
If I cruise at 45 and not much stop and go, It gets right at 20
Headwind and loaded in back will knock that down of course.
I check mileage at...
