So I finally installed new dash yesterday.
Its a dash design product bought from USA1 Industries. Built like "OEM". Steel frame, then foam, then vinyl.
First impressions when taken out of the box were excellent.
Looked great and seemed well made.
However........
Installing was a whole...
Wow! Forget the land rovers.
The only reason I mentioned the rovers was the fact that 14 ARMED FEDERAL AGENTS showed up to seize just one LR 4wd.
The details are irrelevant. I could care less about those trucks.
AGAIN, the point is the fact of such an extreme show of force in getting that...
You do not get the point.
The armed agents might be the same ones to recover these "IF" the govt decides it wants them.
The LRs were just an example of excessive force to seize ONE 4wd.
Not really sure why your considering it political?
It happened
FACT.....not my opinion....FACT
It does...
Correct.
The two battery hookup is very easy.
The part that is confusing is do I hook it up front to back or side to side? As they sit in the tray.
Making it worse is the previous threads have related to both.
I'm trying not to fry the solargizers.
The details about the land rovers are not the point.
The amount of ARMED FORCE that showed up to get just one 4wd is the point.
They weren't cheap trucks, so it wasn't like Mr & Mrs Dirtbag had it parked in front of a crack house.
Almost every owner had no idea about the issues until armed...
great diagram but still confusing to me.
How would this relate to the battery tray layout?
Which way is the front of truck?
That will then show me exactly what I'm looking for.
I Think it's time for a cigar.......
Not all of them. Quite a few were properly done and then the EPA changed the rules and instant illegal truck.
The point was the amount of force that showed up to get them.
If they want them, they WILL get them.
These are the military ones. (IS-24-L Solargizer)
I have seen them on the 5 tons and other trucks that the military installed.
Panels mounted right in front of windshield.
I have the very same ones installed on my CUCVs and HUMMWV.
The four battery setup is what I'm trying to correctly...
Look at what the govt did a year or so ago with those Land Rovers.
Showed up in force with weapons (not drawn) to take them on the spot.
6 cars and 14 agents just to get one 4wd Land Rover that didn't meet US emissions. That was getting just one.
That was just for EPA issues.
Not sure about...
Received item today.
Exactly what I needed.
I owe you one!
Will leave positive feedback......as soon as I figure out how.
check latest PM about front shaft boot.
Thanks again!!

What do you consider a bank?
Front to back or side to side?
The single charger is easy but want to use two.
Like I said, I've read both ways mentioned on this site ( doing two unit hookup).
I want to know the correct way
