Remember your driving a empty cargo truck.
It's gonna bounce. A lot.
Mine had flat spots but after driving enough to really get the tires warm/hot, it helped a LOT!
Now I have zero tire bounce issue
Does it still bounce while driving? Of course! They are empty cargo trucks.
My...
Remember the gauge just shows a ballpark number.
It's not a precision item.
I was also chasing a voltmeter issue.
Three different gauges from three different manufacturers.
Two military, One civilian
Three different readings.
The most accurate of them is the ISSPRO brand. In mine...
Shouldn't matter if you had numbers or not.
A good part store will look them up for you. That is what they do.
I usually already have the numbers for them, but if the parts store needs the number from me for basic stuff then it's time to move on.
Frustrating for sure!
Yes.
It's on the back of the drivers sun visor and also the operators manual
I found for mine, that about 1/4 to 1/2 is the position it likes. All weather
New parts store for sure.
Most Parts are everywhere for the K30.

Glow plugs?
Lift pump?
Air filter ?
Fuel filter?
Battery(s)?
Lots of things to check !
Mine is all stock and starts within 3 seconds down to 15 degrees (blk htr unplugged).
Now that its warmer it's almost instant.
Glow plugs are acdelco 60G's
I personally would swap them out with 60G's.
That way you know exactly what you have and that its correct.
I would rather replace GP's early than continue to run something that is in question.
Sure they work now, but how much longer ?
Will they come out without issue?
Less than $10 each is...
If you leave the system in its stock form or convert it back if changed, you will still be able to use the TM's and receive a lot of help on this site.
If converted to 12v, while many have done it with success, your kinda on your own so to speak.
Read about and do the doghead relay! Cheap...
I had the gen2 light issue also.
Traced problem to main plug in back of instrument cluster.
The copper tab for that gen wire wasn't making contact.
Adjusted tab and recleaned contacts and now gen2 works like it should.
Not sure about your other lights.
