I've had my M925A2 and M923A2 for over two years.
Have driven them almost 3500 miles each.
They are are fun and a beast. You get stared at a lot.
You really have to pay attention when your on the road as other drivers think you can stop as fast as a Kia and will pull right out in front of...
There are tons of threads about human error then.... AKA Frying alternators
I personally have never done it, was just relaying what I have read others doing.
It has been covered many times already.
If the OP had searched the site, all the questions have been answered before.
I would recommend that you DO NOT jump start it and then let the alternator try to charge the batteries.
A fried alternator is usually the result.
There are several threads about this already.
The transport company driver left the battery switch on when he loaded my M923A2 on the trailer...
This was the problem on mine.
Winch worked great at first, then nothing.
Found the thread that said to check this.
Sure enough. That was the issue.
Cleaned it up and a little lube and it works like a champ again.
In my AO I never saw a cucv with them.
But that does not mean they all didn't.
You might try a internet search on the sandbox pics.
One might pop up that has them

Dropped glove box and removed the wire that controls the blend door.
While the hot...
First thing that comes to mind is have you contacted the manufacturer?
That's usually your best source of tech info.
If they are still around call and ask.
I don't run a tach so I can't help on that part.
They are usually very helpful.
Right now I'm dealing with Ross Equipment and...
They are fun.......and addicting!!
I had my wife's blessing on all mine.
Made the experience great !
Enjoy and read all you can on it. TM's etc.
Watch the Army training videos on YouTube
They are cheesy, but have good info
Took my M925A2 to show some friends at a federal maintance Facility for army vehicles.
All were here amazed how nice it was.
The senior enlisted soldiers and the facility CWO all wanted my truck. Was even jokingly offered two M998's for it.
They said they couldn't stand the new trucks...
That looks great!
its great to have friends like that !!
if you get serious with winching, will it rip the brush guard off ?
looks like all the pull force will be on the guard and not the frame.
Just curious since I've never operated a winch like that.
Only operated the winch on my M925A2.
