Contact Papa Bear....he is in Columbus, Ga.....he may have a rig passing through Albany that can snag it for you.......I wanted one of those dollys but they got too rich for me.
Army wrecker drivers were known for going to the canibilization yard and getting CUCV seats to put in their 816's.
Depending on how the civilian seats are mounted you may have to make an adaptor plate to attach the seat to the springer frame.
You also have to make sure the seat isn't so high...
:-PWe made it home at 0200 last night. Had a slight fuel issue with the dually.
I made an extra 300 bucks delivering a 2007 Freightliner Business Class from FL to GA.
Just about covered the fuel for the whole trip.
OK folks I finally got to a puter where I could download pics and post.
The actual swap of the deuce for tanker went well. We got the tanker off Kenny's trailer without loss of life or limb and then placed the trailers side by side to move the deuce bed over to his trailer (this bed was for...

I am still blending veggie and WMO with straight diesel (and a little...
Papa Bear was a gracious host.....he even let me operate the little fork lift but came to his senses before I could get in the roll back to load Freightrain's postal jeep.
The chow was out of sight....even if the ride home was somewhat gassy thanks to the bar-b-qued beans.
Me and FT...
I purchased a deuce that had the big metal cage in back. Since there were no seats in the back and racks to hang things on I assumed it was used in the field to store hi-value items and weapons.
I removed the cage and sold it to a guy to keep his parrot in. I'm sure the bird enjoyed the extra...

The last three I got had some small rust spots but none were eat up with it.
I was told the same thing about trucks being shipped there.
Fewer sales points means less overhead but it...
If anybody has anything to send to Florida I will be heading that way next weekend.......all the way south of Miami. Taking the bobdeuce and a full sized bed down.
I can bring back small stuff but I will be hauling a deuce tanker and wont have much weight allowance left.
Bring anything you want...
There is no cure......just a long spiral down to where you have no money but a yard full of the coolest vehicles ever built.:cookoo::rolleyes:
But......I can quit anytime I want to.
