Would by keeping the air bags inflated or by leaving the pins in on the air shocks help. I leave my pins in when the truck just sits and no use. My thought was it is better for the air shocks and makes the horse shoe sit higher. No problem latching though.

Ron Swamp Donkey got a good look at the truck. I would start at the trunnion bearings and work out the spension with all good useable stuff replace bad. No bad anything then see what you find.
My NAPA at one time carried the correct fitting's that just screw in to make the hard line ends push lock. Also I found when using the push lock stuff is to use some O ring lube on the big fuel line inside as it help to get the hose up to the plastic ring easy.

I had some pilot studs I used on the oil pan install. So to make sure nothing moves on install of cooler I used the same thread pilots here. Don't know if it is in a TM but it is a Good idea. Tanks
Yes you could try and turn up the fuel if all is correct. I would not worry about a small amount of air in the injector return lines. The fuel has been compressed to close to 3500 psi then the extra released to the open return after the injector popped.
