I plan on being there Friday with all my worldly trade goods to include deuce fenders, OVM boxes, battery box covers (one new) and mounting brackets for all, doors, brand new west coast mirrors and a bunch of misc. parts.
I still have the plugs that go on the slave cable adaptors with the 11...
You are only 80 miles from FreightTrain and the rest of the Alabama wrecking crew....you poor bastage.
There is a big GA MPVA meet later this month in Alpheretta, GA...not too far as the crow flies form you......come on down and join the dark green side
Joe......any chance you will be bringing stuff to clintos' rally in Oct????
I will be there with all my trade goods and prob a very good looking/running deuce to sell.
Since I have 40 acres to fill up your loss is my gain. :)
The wife is WRONG.....everybody knows that "he who dies with the most...
Thanks CC but I found the guys number that I got the other one from...he has a bunch more and I may meet him at the GA MPVA rally this month.
Looks like I will get all I need from him.
I will be bringing every thing I have to sell or trade...lots of sheet metal, two fuel tanks (deuce), several OVM and battery boxes, deuce doors and a lot of misc stuff.
I will also have the ever popular adaptor cords that plug into the slave cable adaptors and have about 11 feet of cord on...
I need two of the fording kit side pipe exhaust pipes for the HUMVEE's.
I bought one at the Alabama MPVA meet at Tannehill last year. I think the guy was from Atlanta.
If anyone has some for sale or trade let me know...I want to use them for stacks for my bob deuce.
Thanks.
It is generally called a "headache rack" cause if you don't have one and something heavy comes loose in the cargo bay and comes forward you are going to have one (headache that is). aua
Once you find the nest hit it with ether......it will freeze them in a heartbeat and you can mash them flat (overkill but it gives me a lot of satisfaction).
I hates wasps...especially yellowjackets.
Crap.....just saw that it was an A3 you are going after.....guess its' just diesel for you.
I would remove the cargo canvas to lower wind resistance....other than that just look for the "sweet spot" where it seems to pull good but not suck the bottom out of the tank.
Good luck with that yaller...
I have gotten 12-14 MPG running 45-50 on 4 lane roads....that is in a deuce with no cargo cover to catch the wind and with no load in the bed.
Since I run half Used Motor oil and half gas I dont worry too much about cost of fuel....if you can get good clean UMO (no water or crud in it) you are...
Welcome to the looney bin :cookoo:
Once you are bitten by the dreaded "Green Iron Fever" bug all hope is lost.
You have got to make the GA rally.....you are fairly close to Clinto.....the "Keeper of the Rally".
It is a great event....last year we were in Helen, GA......had a bunch of green...
That's the great thing about the old multi-fuel....it will digest just about anything with octane or cetane.......mine runs on a witches brew of stuff I scavenge from around here.
Even throw in a little laquer thinner for heat every now and then...gives the sytem a good cleaning out.
I filter it...
