Me and Freightrain made the final additions to our grand scheme...we will be leaving Anniston, AL early Friday morning.....we will hold at Temple, Ga to wait out Hotlanta rush hour. If anybody wants to join up with us there we will be leaving about 10 AM Ga time for the final push to the rally...
I need a "C pipe" that goes from the turbo to the air cleaner on a deuce.
Also need two top bow pieces for a deuce...the wood thingies that hold up the canvas.
Kenny.......the engine rides great there. I am going to bring some rollers I have to help get it from my deuce to yours. If someone has a wrecker...so much the better.
Maddawg......the racks can be modified so that they will drop in the sides or front like the headache rack/side racks/troop...
Well, not the whole tank. But I got brand new bustle racks (what the crew stows gear and other stuff on) for sale.
For the armor deficient out there the bustle rack is on the rear of the turret opposite the BFG.
You can start with the rack and build you very own M-1 around it.
Or you can cut...
There are 2 of them in Fagans junkyard in Piedmont, AL
and I think there is one near me for 600 bucks.
Some guy came by and said he had one but I only deal in late model deuces.
El_Guapo,
Are you still planning to make the rally and if so do you want me to bring the deuce bed we discussed at Alpheretta????
My cell is 256-557-1146.
I need to know so I can make arrangemnets to get it pver thee.
Thanks
Richard
My system is very basic.
I cut the legs off an old pair of blue jeans and put one inside the other.
I seal the bottom and hang them from a step ladder.
I pour the oil into the top and I have an oil chage pan (the kind with the spout on it) underneath. It catches the filtered oil and I put it...
I have bought from them and am happy with what I got.
I joined their preferred customer plan and got a huge hardback catalog a few weeks ago.
If you are a member you don't pay shipping on a lot of items.
I got my 12 volt fuel transfer pump from them. Worked great.
If you are getting a lot of either I would get a 250 gal "Tote" which are used to store bulk chemicals. You should be able to find them locally.
A 12 volt pump can ease tranfering to storage and to fuel tanks.
That pole jumped out behind me.
Tell the truth. :driver:
Squirt truck....if you will PM me a phone number I'll give you a call when we get ready to leave Temple.
In fact...it might be a good idea to have a phone roster of people headed for the rally.
Maybe someone with more puter knowledge...
I like the look of dual stacks.
Still mulling over the paint scheme...thinking non-gloss black for the bed and wheels and OD green for the truck.
Also found a real nice 135 gal fuel tank to go with my 12 volt fuel pumping system.
I can quit anytime I want to................I just don't want to.
I don't suffer from my addiction...l enjoy every minute of it.
