Welcome to the looney bin!!!!!:cookoo:
You are close to the headquarters of the Alabama MV Mafia.
Myself, Freightrain, Bama Lady, and a few others are withing 100 miles of you.
When you get your prize home be ready to travel and attend rallies.
We are hoping to have a mini-rally in the...
Bob,
I assume you will be flying into Atlanta. How are you going to get to Warner Robbins?
It is about 60 miles south of Atlanta just below Macon. (give or take)
I have made several pickups there and they are usually good folks to work with.
They do not load out on Fridays.
As far as getting...
My first deuce was picked up by a Hot Shot Rig driver at Fort Jackson, SC.
I faxed him the paid receipt and Authorization for Pickup and the Point of Contact at Jackson and he took care of the rest.
The GL folks at Jackson pushed it up on the trailer (they could have jumped it and drove it on)...
My first deuce had hard top with a "Redneck Turret Hatch".
Someone had cut the last 6 inches off of a 55 gallon drum (equipped with a locking ring handle) and mounted it to the hard top.
To access the ring you removed the drum lid and dropped the passenger seat down to man the gun.
My...
Before the price of scrap went down some idiot in my town got $3500.00 for his.
This was after he promised to call me before he took it to the junkyard.
Proof positive that the intelligence is being bred out of the human race at an alarming rate.
Joel,
Great looking rack.
I have some M1 Tank bustle racks that I plan on cutting down for deuce and 5 ton headache racks.
If any one is interested I have more than I need.
When I was at Clinto's rally last year I was given some military issue shelter halves (GP Tinys).
Since my days of sleeping in pup tents are long over I was racking my brain to come up with a useful purpose for them.
I have several spring seats and the covering on all of them are FUBAR.
I am...
For some reason none of the after market filters sold have gaskets that will easily install.
I was having good luck ordering Mil-spec filters from Ted's Trucks in Dothan, AL, but the last ones I got from him were the same way.
My solution was to remove the dual filter housing and take it to an...
This is the suspected cause of the recent "runaway engine" I had with my 250 Come-a-part.
In my case I had placed a temporary fuel tank on the toolbox behind the cab.
We now suspect that the fuel gravity fed past the injector O-rings, or some other seal, and filled the crankcase.
Be very careful...
We are still trying to name it.
The choices are:
TOW DULLED:cry:
CAMEL TOW:oops:
TOW UP:roll:
TOW APART:-o
SORE TOW:?
TOW DOWN:mrgreen:
TOW IS ME:shock:
TOW ME THE MONEY;)
Feel free to vote for your favorite.
I have two air ride seats out of a Freightshaker that I am itching to install in the 816.
With my back and neck problems I have to have some relief from the stock deuce and 5 ton ride.
I am having the air seats and one spring seat covered with the material from military issue shelter halves (GP...
Well, I traded the M52 for a deuce tractor today.
Got it from a logger that found out it wouldn't pull a log trailer on the road.
I was aided and abeted by my long suffering sidekick Freightrain.
He was at the Primary LZ doing an autopsy on the engine in the 816.
