Make sure you have the manifolds planed (intake and exhaust bolted together) or your new gasket will not last very long. The GMC's are known for warping the exhaust manifold.

The propane/natural gas kit from uscarb.com requires you to permanently modify the carb. Not crazy about that, but new carbs are available from Saturn Surplus. I will get a spare and put it in the spare parts box for quick? change out if I have to convert back to gasoline.

www.uscarb.com has natural gas/propane conversion kits for the 17A. Saturn Surplus has all the spare parts. Looks like the units will spring right to life.

On my winch, you have to move the lever far beyond the detent hole location to get the drum disengaged. Not sure why. Maybe you have the same issue.
