Know it is hard to believe that a orifice 1.3mm will move fuel and air but it does. How much at 35psi I do not know but it could be figured so with that how much heat is removed. Guess what I do not know but it too could be figured. For removing how much air that too I would have to cracks the...
Remember we already said the valve has an orifice in it, The overflow valve /orifice does not need that much flow at low rpm as all the Head needs is it's correct fuel pressure to operate at specs. The orifice is large enough before valve opening to allow enough fuel to cool the head and expel...
To be correct Rusty the overflow valve opens up at between 33 and 38 psi. When we start the motor the lift pump produces 35 psi then the valve will open and between the size of the orifice and valve the Head will flow all extra fuel out of it while holding the correct pressure along with...
Is that almost not what I said before and never disagreed that it removes air running or not. I disagree that all the fuel is being used up at cruse speed there is always some fuel running through the overflow valve and returning to the tank. I just like calling things what they are so I say...
Was just adding the thing about the cooling in response to your comment to help education. Also the head has what is called the IP overflow valve not a bypass with a orifice in it to allow the fuel to always flow through the Head unit and also keep the pressure in the head correct when running...
Was that the Troubleshooting the 465 manual. It flows and remember the secondary filter bypass does not open till over 60 to 70 lbs. Let the motor idle (35 lbs.) and see how much flows back to the tank or even just the in tank pump running it still flows quite a bit but not needed for cooling as...
Just went to one of the auction sights and there was a New three finger 6 puck for our Deuce for bid. If you know what is out there you are better armed.
Not the pressure plate the flat thingy under the pressure plate the goes round and round and makes no sound but when it's done your out of fun. Some call it the clutch to bee correct but I call it a pain in the azz.
Just throwing it out there but I like the six puck clutch disc.
Corrected my post so as to tell the difference between pressure plate arms and clutch disc pucks.
I don't know if I would have done that screen. If it clogs you must remove the pump so I would just let the three filters do the job and remove that to start with.
And too help keep the injection pump Head cool! Also with this type of system there is no bleeding if the injection system if you run out of fuel just add fuel turn on the pump bleed and leave.
They fit my M920 so my guess is yes. I got new 24.5 tires and recondition wheels from Goodyear truck tire center here in Gainesville. The wheels were in god shape and repainted. It cut down on my top end of the 920 so I am going to take them off and put them on my M817.
It's not the screws but the plate that they hold down. If the control assembly was free and not binding when you installed it then my guess wrong O ring or equal torque on both screws to prevent cocking of the plate.
I am thinking you got it together ok just that it is binding when you tighten up the two screws that hold in the fuel control. If it was not in right you would not have been able to shut her down.
