I just wonder if Kia bought AM General's tooling or did they reverse engineer the trucks from scratch? Many of the new production deuce parts like windshield inner frames are actually made for these trucks.
OOOH Rumplecat you may have found something there. If it has wheelwells and NO wide diagonal braces on the outside of the bed over the corners of the cutout, it is a M34 gas deuce bed. If there are the diagonal braces, it is a GMC M135 bed, which is much, much more common. The bolting...
Everyone here will assume you are talking about a 900 series 5 ton 6x6. The CCC/AM General 915-916-920 does not seem to have a "series" lingo attached to it. Maybe the term "line haul" . . .
The truck you were supposed to get came from GL about a year ago, they sold out of Illinois I think it was for about $4000. They were nice but what is called a "limited depot overhaul", not stripped to the frame, with plenty of nice paint over sins.
