If so, you may have a problem. They are a nationwide flatbed carrier out of Tulsa. They just shut down operations and told the drivers to walk away from the trucks where they stood. Bounced paychecks, deactivated fuel cards, the worst thing to do to loyal employees. There is a support...
Welcome to the site. Parramore Surplus in Florida has a bomb hoist version he may sell you. They have a web site. Otherwise, these trucks just kind of "come out of the backwoods" here in the US. They are very scarce, mostly forgotten in junk yards and farms.
The ORD7 G749 will list the OVM, but I can't find my copy. I don't think there is a -10 for this truck. I have never seen any brackets or footman loops that would hold any pioneer tools, only the straps for the cab top parts. GMC must have figured the truck would never get stuck;-)
You need a MP-50 bracket. If you Google MP-50 there are some pics and diagrams of how to mount it. There are two locations, one out the back, just to the left of the liquid can bracket, and the other is out the side behind the driver. The latter requires another stiffener bracket.
It powers this radio, the BC669, part of the SCR543 radio set. WWII ground based command set, AM 1.68 to 4.45 MC. Would have been mounted in a MBT trailer behind a WWII Jeep. Engine is the Briggs ZZ. Picture credit: bwgsurplus.com
Wrapping up this thread, remember that nobody is manufacturing axle housings, transfer case housings, engine blocks, or steering gear housings for WWII or other flat fender jeeps. You have to start with some original parts.
What have you guys been paying for these? I ask this because I have been outbid at $2500, $2000 and $1500 for these, and I can't see how they are worth this much? I guess they are to someone . . .
