One Napa secondary filter 10 micron #3512. Final canister fuel filter One NAPA #33540 6 micron and the NAPA fuel filter gasket #5070 times two. The down side is the filters have the wrong size gaskets.

You might try what 98G said and just shift into neutral to check. I only had a 939 series for a short time but if I remember right it is on top of the Trans. on a line. The other question would be where is the sensor that controls the solenoid? I also lost my computer and all the good TM's

Yea just rusted PB and a prayer. Why do you feel the need to remove the whole thing? I would also make sure you get the depth correct so if you do get the jam nut loose count the number of turns it takes to get it out.
