I have to disagree the large canister filters has a lot of area and the water catch is very large. If one was to put 300 miles a day everyday but Sunday I would say switch but a 1000 miles a year with clean tank good fuel change it when you get the truck and forget about it.
Your pic shows the FDC and we don't remove it just bypass it. By bypassing the FDC your fuel might need to be turned down but pyro should be added so we can tweek the motor /fuel
Take a pair of side cutters and cut the big fuel line yellow lines off at the fittings. Unscrew from FDC and plug. Then the lower small yellow line marked cut that off same thing at the Head return T where that line goes to the T cut it off and install inverted plug in hole. Leave the fitting...
It's more than that. The FDC gets two plugs in it just to close off the ports but no pressure no fuel will spill. Then the line from the final fuel filter goes to the HH if there is enough line and you use one of the fitting that is just a single from when you took off all the fittings from FDC...
Pic three is HH to return fuel to T on the finial filters pic six. Pic four from final fuel filter to FDC pic five. Pic one is flame start and the only fitting left to hook to.
Yea me too and that is why my yard looks like a military base. The only problem is so much to maintain.
Don't get me wrong the EXP is a cool truck /box and it can be taken off the truck, placed on the ground and towed around. I just think it would be a little harder to make it into a real cool...
I still think a cargo truck with something built in the bed that could be removed and then you have ground house plus a cargo truck. Know it would be heavy but something like the camper that goes in the bed of a pickup that you jacked up and drove away from the camper.
Agreed on the side wind...
If some kind of military truck camper is what you want I would stay away from the EXP. I also would also stay away from the 109 boxes as by the time you deal with all the rust that is behind the fiberglass insulation in the walls and roof you will still have small little box. Yes I have driven...
I am not a doctor but my diagnosis is one you have the Mean Green Disease ( have to buy everything olive drab) and invertitas. ( post pictures upside down). There is no cure for MGD but to go bankrupt and for the invertitas ask a friend to put a arrow on your pics as to North.
When I get a canister with a lot of rust in the bottom I let it soak in my mineral tank for awhile and air dry. Then pour some muriatic acid in the canister bottom and it eats the rust. Then I water flush real well and air dry.
