Not a good idea as stainless and aluminum do not play well causing galvanic corrosion. That is why you will not see any stainless on a hmmwv.

I had not seen a pic of the tires and rims upclose. My impression is that this trailer was designed for off road. Nevertheless I doubt many more will leak out and surprised this one did not get snapped up by state surplus programs before being released to gov planet.

In a previous lifetime, I have seen lug nuts distorted by over torque hence I think that is the reference to be able to spin on by hand. Ymmv
