I edited a picture in MSpaint to get a visual of what a truck would look like when done this way. It didn't look too bad, but I can't find the picture right now.
I haven't looked closely at the system, I just threw the Ford solenoid in there. Do the two wires from the stock relay get wired together, then the signal wire go to the starter solenoid?
So I posted a thread a while back about my truck not starting. I finally got some time to get around to it. I couldn't readily find a stock replacement relay, so I grabbed a Ford fender mounted solenoid and swapped it in. Once I did that, the truck fired to life! What are the ramifications...
My old Deuce just got fired up for the first time in almost a year. It got put on the back burner because of some issues at home and life events. I buttoned up the nickle and dime stuff left from the clutch swap, put on a Ford solenoid in place of the relay (just to get it running again) and...

2 1/2 v band exhaust outlet
1 5/8 id compressor outlet
2 od compressor outlet...

Locked rear-rear
Seems like it would keep all the street manners and not be CRAZY expensive (but not the cheapest either). You could take it from 2x6 to 6x6 or anywhere in between. Just an uneducated opinion.
I was looking around for some parts to use on my Ramcharger and had an idea. I seen some DIY weld-on bead locks for 20" wheels.
My thought was to cut up and widen the stock wheels like has been posted here before. Then, weld on the bead lock to that and it should make it easily a 10" wide...
