Original split cv boots were glued/sealed together. The original ones were not able to hold up dependably. This design is light years ahead of the first ones. Split cv boots have been around a long time and do the job they are intended to do.

Largest oil company with most of private labels is valvoline, way down the list Quaker state and havoline/chevron.
Private labels with specs on label will be just fine to use.

36 inch are older bias ply tires and I don't believe they are currently made anymore.
37 inch are radials and are more common now and currently made by Goodyear and bf goodrich.
Radials are a much better tire with better ride and traction if available...

Autometer also makes a black mechanical lighted speedo. Looks very oe and has a trip odmoter.
Just needs a 24v bulb and splice in their wiring.
Others make mechanical speedometers.

There are 2 varities as they were upgraded. Yours is the newer style but either one works fine and are interchangeable.
The civy version is usually 12v and the military is 24v. The Is24L is the common sized one seen on most mv's. The one Kendelrio pictured is a different model with a larger panel. I believe the IS24L is water proof or resisant as the small box looks totally sealed and just has 2 wires coming...

Probably listed as an assy as there is a green water seperator core in the cartridge filter. Best to replace both while you have it open.
