Well I just got in to my parents house in Sykesville MD, from Fort Rucker AL. It took two full days of driving. I ended up driving the 26 foot Penske truck towing my H3. My father drove the CUCV. He said it drove great no issues just had to add a quart of oil ( I think i'm due a front and rear...
Well currently my M1009 is sitting at the shop. Both my rear axles are bad. Does anybody have a used set in my driving area? Unfortunately this could not have come at a worse time as I'm pcs'ing in about 10 days.
Well I replaced my leaking or what I thought was a leaking radiator only to find out it was the dang reservoir. I bought a new one from a chevy van that was similar but in no way fits right. grrrr Anyway my simple fix of just using a anti freeze jug zip tied to the side of my fender and...
Has anybody ordered these glowplugs? They say they are wellman 070's but 24V?
Thought they were 12V. Or does anybody have a better source? I'm getting alot of white smoke in the cold mornings. I think it has to be a few bad plugs.

Just painted my CUCV with some Shermin Williams CARC 383 green. I think it turned out great. I redid the markings to the same as my National Guard Unit.
Well I took my M1009 to the Auto Shop on base to put m 2 inch lift on. Everybody I have talked to said it will be really easy. Lifted it up looked underneath and yeah looks pretty simple until I got to the rear shocks........who in their right mind decided to put the bolt on the inside of the...
Well after much thought I went with a 2 inch suspension lift for my M1009. I want to keep it stock looking while giving the 33' tires more room. My front leaf springs and shocks are shot, so i might as well spend it on a lift. Anyway I won a tough country on ebay. It was a buy now or best offer...
I searched for and couldnt find the size of the star that goes on the front of my cucv. Is there a stencil for that? The guy painting mine painted over my markings and my bridge plate. What should I put on the bridge plate? Oh and it looks great so far. Sherman Williams CARC 383 green like it...
Looking for some NOS rubber plugs that go where the antenna cables go into the hard top on the M1009 blazer. Anybody have an idea where I could find some. Mine are all dry rotted and I'm in the process of re sealing the whole thing when i paint it. Thanks!

Window crank for the doors how do i get them off to access the door panel. i am trying to replace all the weather strip seals but it seems that the door panel needs to come off to replace the inner door run. i do not see a bolt or anything on the crank.
So I outfitted my M1009 with all 33' tires now the 33' spare will not let the tailgate close all the way. I'm trying to see if anybody has already found a solution to this before i reinvent the wheel.
I would like to replace all the felt lining around the windows. I think they are called channels. The upper portion lower portion and the part that runs along the little triangle window. I tried LMC but the part that runs along the little triangle window is not for my year. Has anybody replaced...
