easy way to tell, with hubs locked in and t-case in 2wd, jack one wheel up and spin by hand, front drive shaft should spin, now put in 4wd, now try to spin by hand should not spin. also you do not need to put grease in the lockouts. good luck

if all your doing is lockout then you wont need those. if your pulling the rotors ,you can replace the oe spindle nut with the kit you showed, but you dont need to. i replaced mine but only because i have the socket with the four tabs.

all you need is 2 t-fittings and 6 quick connects and the propper lenght hoses plumb it all up and good to go. nice thing about the hydrolic whinch is it draws very little amprage, they are slower though.
