After getting the GP card holder separated intact from the steering column; I am having difficulty in separating the back of the GP Controller board holder...
My 1009 is leaking lots of transmission fluid from the front seal and a mechanic is saying the fluid is blowing out the dipstick tube. Has anyone had a similar issue and what was the cause? Did the fix require a complete rebuild of the TH 400.
I picked up a factory K5 Blazer Console at a swap meet that needs some restoration work. I would like to remove the factory lock and get it keyed for the doors, etc. Does any no how to remove the lock? The console has some small cracking in back I would like to fill before respraying it...
My M1009 had been running fine after sitting for four months. However today it would not start. I charged the batteries and the engine would turn very slowly however then smoke started to come from the Gen#1 Alternator terminal and a relay near the firewall.
