4Lo is meant for low speed operation. Using your example in 4lo, it wouldn't matter if the hubs were locked or not. 35mph would do damage either way to the transfer case.
To answer reloaders specific question, nothing. The transfer case doesn't know if the hubs are unlocked or not, it just...
Just tested the glow plugs (running out of ideas) and they measured open. Those things were brand new! Also, the firewall resistor measured 2.8 Ohms so I figure it's still good.
Read through the GP Theory and had some ideas to try, couldn't really test to see if anything worked until this morning. Problem still exists.
I believe my wait light is functioning properly, it's on for about 8 seconds or so but the glow plugs cycle faster, in the 5 second range.
The only...
I'm having a problem starting my M1009 as the weather gets colder. I'm starting to suspect it has something to do with how long the glow plugs are trying to heat up. The length of time (as evident by the audible relay closing and the voltmeter dipping) for a cold start has never really changed...

They could have asked Jeep who has building Fiberglass hard tops WITH back windows for a long time that don't roll up and down.
Or asked Wreckerman and listen to him boast how he would never own one over, and over, and over, and over again.
By nature and design, a Diesel engine was built to run on several fuels. The problem is the newer and more "fancy" the engine, the more picky it is. The 6.2 is a fairly basic Diesel engien and with some proper care and setup, can burn alternative fuels including WMO and WVO.
