    okay it took me longer to reply to this but i fixed the issue, not sure how but I did, I unscrewed the fuse block checked the connections in the back make sure nothing was arching and put it back on as soon as I did it worked? havent had the problem since...mysterious but hey it fixed it!

    Thank you all for the input and help! I fixed the problem!! The driver side alternator which when tested at Advanced Auto and tested good was the problem, not sure why it tested good but when I bought a new one and replaced it, the front battery was charging at at 14.5volts with the engine...

    Thanks, yes I have that TM, I will look at it again with a "fresh updated mind" maybe I just overlooked something...I think one of the most confusing things is that if the driver side alternator is suppose to charge the front battery and my front battery is not charging, why would the alternator...

    I dont, mine had a 2Flu brass one which I needed to replace and I got a 3Flu brass...Aluminum is much cheaper, and cools faster/ keeps cool longer...However, it is much more difficult to repair.

    I had a leak in the same spot it sounds like (Driver side solder joint?) anyways here is a website that stocks aluminum radiators, however, it does not say anything about what this one is made of, other than that it has EOC and TOC.... the one you need is the 8th one down I believe 84 1984...

    Chief1983, Yea, everything I have read says these should be 24V but yea I have no clue now...time for more research! =).... As for the resistor bank I'm not sure...pardon my ignorance, but what is the IP?
