I have a M109 that a couple of the van windows are coming apart and was wondering if anyone had any tips as far as trying to rebuild them. I'm pretty sure I can rebuild them it just seems the wood that holds together the 2 metal sides has rotted and therefore the windows are coming apart. Has...

So does this mean that noob's with questions (and others too I suppose) get a reprieve on the "do a search :deadhorse:" ?
Sorry, I crack myself up... :jumpin:rofl
Or as my wife just told me maybe it is more so... :cookoo:
Seriously tho, hope to get the TM's back up soom... lot...
Reasons for not owning a Deuce...
Additional reasons ppl may forgo owning a Deuce...
1. Bought it and didn't tell the wife... then she came home from work to it sitting in the drive. fat lady sings
2. Bought it because you thought it would be cool (and it is BTW) but you got tired of...
Yeah, read through all of it as dry and boring as it is... :) I always thought of myself to be a Homer... That'll teach me not to read the fine print anymore! rofl
Hi, I feel like ranting... sorry.:soapbox:
I thought maybe I imagined it the 1st time it happened but the 2nd auction it happened again and I knew for sure... the end time was supposed to be at X:XX o'clock but instead ended over and hour later and by doing so drove up the price...
Anyone have a way to move a deuce around in the Dallas, TX area or know someone who does? It isn't running and need to get it to a mechanic. I was referred to a guy in Kaufman and the truck is in within Dallas proper. Any mechanic referrals welcome as well. Thanks guys.
I have a 109... If you were to take it camping, out to get a burger or to haul some groceries every blue moon (probably what it would be used for mostly) would Haggerty have issues w/ that? If so it would make me question if they really expect you to drive it at all...
Can you get a flat trailer suitable to load a Deuce onto that fits on a Deuce's hitch? (pintle?) If so would that work or would the weight be too great on the hitch of the Deuce towing the 2nd?
Won in San Antonio auction on the 11th... 1st EUC
Yes, sounds like we all did... is there a way arounf that? It sure would be nice to put that extra cash into fixing it up instead. [thumbzup]
Submitted EUC around the 15th It would be nice if we could p/u at the same time... I figure...
Understood and appreciated... Thanks for all of the advice guys. I'll definitely try to locate a driveshaft, bring extra batteries, air, jack, tools, etc... When it comes time for me to finally pick it up if anyone that has knowledge of the Deuce wants to come out there with me I'll let ya. :D
How often do those come up on GL? :)
I am sooooooooooo jealous! Hmmm, and to think one of my neighbors hates the idea of a deuce being parked in my drive... I'd LOVE to see the look on their face  when they got home from work to find the barrel of the long tom jutting out over the...
Thanks for the info I'll have to check into that. Motorcar... do you know if they had something like this in the SA lot? Tinwoodsman, I know during a "recovery" from the GL auctions it is normal to find things that you weren't expecting. I think I was just a little more sensitive b/c more than 1...
Probably noob question...
I see that someone said that the slobber tube/road draft tube is necessary as it coats the underside in oil to aid in rust prevention but when I first saw the open tube leading from the turbo and the mess of oil on the underside my first thought was to make a catch can...
Thanks for the advice... I'm hoping that it won't be as bad as I'm imagining it to be now...
I don't suppose you looked at this one while you were on the lot did you? If so did you have any other info on other problems you may have noticed?
Thanks again guys
Crap... Yes it was... I was reading other posts involving auctions in other states and some ppl had went to preview vehicles and made notes of their conditions. I don't suppose anyone here did that? If so I'd appreciate any info...
(actually yours is the one I'm referencing Bob H and thx for...
I picked up a Deuce in a GL auction and being a noob thought that it would be able to drive away... reading more and more posts and think I'll need a lift.
Also, just out of curiousity do they have towbars for a Deuce to tow another Deuce?
Thanks in advance guys...
I hope so.... I really want one but was hoping to get her for a good deal or at least know what I paid for it in runniong condition. Now I'm wondering what all has to be done to get her up and running and how much more $ it will take to do so. I was hoping to go through GL to avoid ebay prices...
