With the loss of my current engine due to an injector sticking open and melting down the piston, my truck is in the process of getting a new engine. I had it picked up Friday before I left Anchorage and while I am gone it will receive a new power plant.

I told my deuce camper on my gooseneck behind my F 450 from Oklahoma to Anchorage Alaska pulling it was fine but stopping was a real pain. just take it slow leave a lot of space between you and the vehicles in front of you and plan your stops ahead.

Mine gets about 9mpg but is pretty heavy for a Deuce. Where are you in Alaska? I will be up there in a month. I am headed for Anchorage with my deuce nd I know some other Deuce people there.
