I am towing with a chevy 1 ton dually, I have the tow height adjuested properly with the pintle receiver I have so she tows flat and level. I appreicate the idea though..... any other thoughts?aua
I just picked up a M1101 from the auction at Ft Lewis. When I was driving it home I stopped at a stopsign and the drivers side tire locked up SOLID. I couldnt get it to budge..... I tried setting and releasing the hand brake, and then just pulling forward and backward, and eventually I got it...
HOw soon are you needing this done? I am planning a trip to TX from Olympia, (I work at Ft Lewis) I need to go to Ft Hood to check on my rental house in the next couple months. I could store the Motor for you also if you need storage while aranging transportation...
I found a pin at Harbor Freight today that works ok, I am looking for something a bit more robust preferably with a hole in it so I can tether it to the trailer, anyone have any ideas or have something that works good for this?[thumbzup]
would be easier to just order what you need, rather than hoping some guy at NAPA can figure it out for you, my NAPA sucks, maybe you have better luck there, but these guys can barely navagate out of a wet paperbag with instructions and a GPS...
I would look for a new set of springs, or wait for another auction and start over, these trailers just arent expensive enough to put much work into them IMHO....:driver:
Just the data plate, mine has a 4 digit vin, have problems every now and again with DMV (trailer reported stolen) takes a few minutes to get them straightened out. Pain n my butttt
I have to tilt my rifle rack on my front bars to make it fit, however it fits fine, I use the tilt feature of the trailer so I dont need to carry ramps !!!! [thumbzup]
it is that way on 80's ford 1 ton pickup trucks too, ask Les Schuab how they know...... (had to replace all the studs on the drivers side of the truck cause they torqued the **** out of them and had to replace a set of wheels too.... tough learning lesson....:driver:
Kevlar fabric, the wind resistance on the front unless reinforced on the back would rip apart the seems/ material used (mil spec). I was just saying you want to really think about what you are going to cover it with as you will need something that has a greater strength than the rubberized...
