To early to tell about the hood insulation as I haven't driven it enough. Sitting in the cab with engine running seems a bit quieter. Could just be my imagination though,
Thanks K9. The dent was on the top of the tailgate where the window came out of. If you put a straight edge across the top you could see the downward bow. The regulator broke after I had it awhile. The other dents where minor but might as well fix things right before a good paint job.
Thanks Bert, It was recommended by another SS Member. It supposed to stay darker longer and not caulk as fast. I also found out the nozzles on the Rapco cans are more of a fan pattern. Much harder to use when making Camo pattern shapes. The Rustoleum cans have a round pattern spray which is much...
Well the M1009 that I bought from K9Vic awhile back was in great shape mechanically and looked okay. There were a few things that need to be done to her. My Brother Dman69 was driving her to Lonestar MVPA club events as he did not a have a MV of his own. Well I have 3 MVs with M37B1 being the...

1031 - Changed out the Glow Plug Relay and the GPs from 070s to AC 60Gs. This solved the starting problems the previous owner had, she started right up. Also changed the oil and oil filter it was nasty black. Ran it awhile still nasty black. Any suggestion on how to flush the oil?
1009 - Tried...
Setting up a TARS was cool. It gave us some ideas for camping when 2 Oh9s are used. Pics of the idea will come later. It was a challenge working with a former E-6 tanker as I am a former Infantry O-3. The infantry did all the brain work and critical thinking. The armor was there to provide...
