Pics the Commerce City Memorial Day Parade

Guys... great pics! There are some really nice shots - look for them on our website in the next few days. Several of our guys are members of SS. And more are joining all the time - our guys really enjoy being able to read the posts and chat with other MV owners. It's very useful when...

    Lady Liberty B-17

BTW. Sweet photos. I have never seen so many B-17s in the same place! Nice job!

    Lady Liberty B-17

I've been to WWII weekend several times... I highly recommend it to anyone. We are trying to organize something similar to that here in Colorado (we have a lot more real estate that they do back east, but it's difficult to attract the numbers we need to make this successful - the distances are...

Deuce prices way up on today's end auction

Guys... I have a friend who is a fabricator... he tells me the price of steel will increase 40% across the board in the next 2-3 weeks. That won't help much...

    10 ton for sale.

Kinda hard to find a garage for it, huh?

What neighbors have to say about my new M1009

RE: Re: RE: Nice mail Nice! I guess the first thing that an MV owner should purchase is a big piece of property. Keep the neighbors at a distance and avoid nosy neighbors. Then build a nice shop and garage. Gotta keep the 'prying eyes' from seeing anything and then they'll have nothing to...

    Jeep Engine

If you are wanting/restoring a WWII Jeep, I suggest you purchase the books All American Wonder, Vol 1 & 2. They have lots of pics and take the time to point our the differences between Willys and GPW. Also have goo photos of the engine. They are well worth the investment!

    Images of a 1943 WC54 Ambulance

I wish we had a bit of 'scenery' like that here! Beautiful! Your WC is great shape. Good find!

    WC57 Command Car project.

Are the font tires airplane tires? If so, what size?

    Restoring WC 10

Try using Google to find someone in your neck of the woods. Also, you can join MVPA or your local MV club (Dixie Division MVPA, I believe - you can always call the 800# for MVPA and Kay or Tracy will tell you which clubs are in your area) - maybe someone knows someone who does good work!

    Locking hubs.

RE: Re: RE: Locking hubs. Will Forget the hubs, I couldn't help but notice the combat rims! Nice! Mike Peters Obviously, you live on the East Coast - you can tell - the vehicle is all rusty and the grass is green! Your Jeep looks very similar to several I have found - same shape. Good...

    Jeep Engine

Medlog G503 is a good suggestion - I know several guys who have/have restored Jeeps, but even if they had an engine I doubt they would want to part with it. G503 is your best bet. Also try contacting some of the major parts guys, like Peter DeBella, DL Bensinger, etc. - they may have an...

Homecoming of the Possible Jeep Project....

Are the trailer ramps something you bought or did you make them? I live on a ranch and could use a set like that around here!

    jeep parts

Did anyone reply to your post? What do you have? What parts were you looking for? :D

Homecoming of the Possible Jeep Project....

You got a CJ-2A on your hands. It appears to be fairly complete. It's not great, but it's not that bad either! The side panels appear restorable, but it does appear that you will need to replace the floor and fill in nuerous holes (possibly need to repair certain areas of the panel). You may...

    What is /was it?

Will Can you take a few more pics so we can get a better look? Try to focus on the tracks and running gear.

    What is /was it?

They do like weasel tracks, but it's hard to tell for sure from the photo. It is definitely a Ford GTB that was modified. The question is when and by whom? The truck did have a body, similiar to a pick up truck body, attached - it looks as if it was removed. I would try to find out as much...

    Lady Liberty B-17

CdnH1 I belonged to a living history group that was invited to the premier of the Mephis Belle. They had contacted us months before for advice and to sell them items which they were missing for the movie. We were terribly disappointed - typical Hollywood BS - I hate it when the distort the...

1944 Jeep and trailer sold on ebay for $39,100

Stretch I think that's what this guy tried to do... and hoped the rest of us would fall for it! The paint job is so bad that it appears they overstrayed the engine compartment. Hey, don't you guys know that OD stands for over dirt?

    10 ton for sale.

CPW: KEEP THE GUNNY! I met the guy... he's great. He spoke at an event in his hometown and then stayed for almost six hours signing autographs! He didn't leave until everyone in line had had a chance to see him and say 'hello.' Gotta like that! Too bad about the seller (typical isn't it...
