Was wondering if someone had a part number for a commercially available fuel filter for the 6.2 engine? If it matters it is a M998 from 1985.

Not sure how to identify the transfer case model. The truck has a 6.5 engine with a 3 speed transmission if that helps.

On my M998 the front output seal for the transfer case has gone bad. Does anyone know of a commercial replacement for this output seal and what that part number might be?

1985 M998 was running fine then it shut off a couple of times when I took my foot off the fuel pedal to stop or turn. Does a HMMWV only have the Manufactures Serial Number on the data plate or is it located at another location on the truck? If the number is located at another location, what is that location? Thanks for any help you can give me on this.

I used to import Unimogs and Pinzgauers back in the 1990s Any of my customers that made a change to synthetic after those trucks had been on Dino Oil for over 25 years experienced lots of oil leaks. Sometimes going back to Dino Oil stopped the leaks, sometimes not.
