I love it! I'd love to build one for Canadian 4 season camping. While I'm dreaming I'd like it to be a crew cab, and have a HIAB behind the cab....too much?

Thats the way to do it. Forget that manual labour stuff.
But I would mount a roller fairlead on the end of the boom. It will save your cable, and pull a little smoother.
I'm just hoping to find one of our Canadian Deuces with a HIAB picker behind the cab.
I'm going to CFB Edmonton on Saturday. I know a couple of retired PPCLI's that are now contractors on the base that should be able to give me some insight on when they're letting them go.
I really want that M35 with the hiab picker, and half canopy. Stretched into a crew cab is my dream hunting...
Is a Deuce considered a WMD?
An old thread but very informative....eh? I was really wondering about the "End Use Certificate", and how it might affect a purchase of a Deuce for a Canuck. I still might wait until ours come up in 2-3 years
