LDS465-1A injection pump on LD465 non turbo engine

I was wondering if an injection pump off of a 5 ton LDS465-1A would work on a LD465 engine. Would the fuel be turned up to much, the governed speed tag says 700/2600 so it looks like a direct bolt on replacement to me. Is there some reason this pump wouldn't work? Thanks for any info, James

Has anyone had trouble with the check valve in the injection pump sticking? My truck has sit a while and this check valve keeps sticking on me, I can take an air hose and blow in the fuel line and it frees up, then it starts and runs perfect until the next time I try to start. Thanks for any...

Few Pictures of my Bobbed Deuce

Only reason the rear end is red is because that's the paint I had close by after installing the Detroit locker. I agree it needs to be green. The Wheels are from Longs Wheel and Rim in Florida and they are 11" wide with 8.5" of backspacing. I love the Rims but the price was a little steep.

Few Pictures of my Bobbed Deuce

I actually shortened the bows a few inches to make them even with the top of the cab, I liked that look better. I used Gillespie Paint that I bought from Rapco in Texas a few years ago. The paint itself was 383 Green, Earth Brown and Special Black if my memory is right.

I used white plastic tube from tractor supply so that I could see if it is oil is being pumped thru the line. I didn't know that there was 2 check valves in it, I thought it just passed straight thru. I guess i will take it apart and inspect/clean these valves. Thanks for the info
