Thank you! I was trying to beat the weather as last week was warm enough to paint outside. I got the nose mostly done. Going with the civilian look. You're making me look bad! I'm a year in and still have a rusty rear frame in the back waiting to be wired and sprayed.
Nice work!
That is for the M1010 fuel pump heater. It is not used on any others. I think the winterization kit uses it for the fuel fired heater also.I have this random wire hanging out near the rear drvr side valve cover harness. Cant seem to find what it plugs into?
Thats odd. I have a 1008. Are you saying that it may of had a winterizing kit at some point? That is for the M1010 fuel pump heater. It is not used on any others. I think the winterization kit uses it for the fuel fired heater also.
I think i found the harness in a box of parts that came with the truck. Ill let you know if it doesn't work out.Show me what you need in the wiring harness. I have lots of wiring harnesses for parts and entire used harnesses. How about a picture.
The wires you have there are the fusible links on the alternators. Replace them with new fusible links. That taped one has to go. That is looking for trouble. You can buy fusible link wire at an auto parts store. The black rounds are just fancy butt connections.Found this steller piece of craftsmanship today....
I bought an entire roll of the link a few weeks ago. Ive used 3 feet of it fixing this thing lol.The wires you have there are the fusible links on the alternators. I like that tread pattern, what brand are those?Went with 33's
Those are Ironman all country. Load E 10 ply. They were 700$ installed. Watched a few YouTube reviews people seem happy with them. I really like the goodyear duratrax and have them on my daily driver. But they were about 300$ more.I like that tread pattern, what brand are those?
