I believe the OE cable to be about 15'- 20' long or so.
I saw the quote in passing on my box just about a week
or so ago. Yes, it was over $3,000.00 for that cable.
That is what I was quoted.
These LMHC Cranes are AWSOME
little pieces of machinery and you can not get parts, you
have to make what you are missing or hope to find one
on GL and that is not happening currently.
They were origionally designed for the LMTV bed. If you can
picture an LMTV bed you will recall some square pockets
w/ removable plugs at the DS and PS rear of the bed. Those
holes are for the LMHC (Light Material Handling Crane)
There was a NOS LMHC that came across GL about 8 months
ago or so, new in crate, it went for under but not far from
$3,000.00 if I remember right. Just beautiful it was...
Once I have it all up and running I will do a YouTube for all
to see how cool it is.
Yes, a guy could buy any-ole' crane but the LMHC is a Military
issued, and used crane...It is a little BEAST!
