Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

I just repainted the M715. I had to go with Valspar instead of Sherwin-Williams as Lowes didn't have the base I need.

I swear by Sherwin-Williams but have my doubts about the Valspar. We will see after the first pressure wash...






And to say it was BRIGHT when u sprayed is an understatement!



I honestly thought I messed up and would have to start over.

She is still a little bright in the sun, though

1985 CUCV, M 1102 Trailer and a S-250 Shelter. All done with paint from Home Depot. Love everything about the paint. I’m all about trying to keeping it close to military as possible, but I work at a Depot and after smelling that crap all day and dealing with all the proper PPE just to touch up a bad spot. wow, amazing ,was this sprayed or brushed ?

thank you. It was all sprayed with a Harbor Freight HVLP gun at 17lbs of air pressure. the paint was slightly thinned so it could be sprayed at that low level of air.

ied CARC subst Gillespie Paint from RAPCO and was not at all happy with the "flatness" of the paint. It seemed more like a satin finish rather than flat. Don't get me wrong I do like the Gillespie paint but would be more fitting for the gloss ty

What spray gun do you use ???

After your prep work, did you guys first lay down a coat of primer and then shoot the Behr exterior over it?

If so, what type of primers have been used?

Im wondering if they rolled it or sprayed brushing the pattern seems easier than masking

Ok... update on the Valspar exterior.

I painted the M715 with Valspar exterior in a "Pine Bough Green" and stressed the first pressure wash, as I didn't know how it would hold up compared to the Sherwin-Williams...

I'm pleased to say there was no flaking or loss of any paint! It held up extremely well!
