Is the Behr product not lasting? Several of my vehicles are over 6 years old with Behr? What are you expecting? Just curious.
Noticeable degradation after 5 or so years. Drops like a rock and loses pigmentation quickly. Went from near new at the 5yr mark to faded and completely thrashed about the 6-7 yr mark.

I have not hit that yet. I am in so cal and vehicles are always outside in sun. What area and garaged or outdoors? All others i have read seem to be 5 or 6 years with no problems. Hope someone else adds to this.

I put the 4300 on my trucks with a paintbrush almost 10 years ago. You can see the brush marks now, but the paint is much darker than the original finish - about half way between faded CARC green and the 60's dark green semi gloss. They get a lot of sunshine. At 50 feet they look great, up close the brush marks stand out like a sore thumb. YMMV.

I think if you're doing single color it's fine - it fades relatively uniformly.

The issue is the time/effort doing 3 color. If I can get 10 years instead of 5 years it's worth it.
