I would think that the Mule would be okay from staging to the racetrack, and back. You might want to carry a helmet, just in case a leo does enforce the helmet law. It is a shame we don't have a wrecker with us- we could just sling the mule into the back of a deuce or five ton.......

Me to I'm sure we'll be OK. Just want to make sure all our bases are covered.

There is a thread cooking on my tent system for the M944 with a link with pictures. http://1drv.ms/1p2MkQ1 As mentioned it is very heavy and a bear to set up. Having said that do you think there would be any value if I brought it with me? For the overnighters? I would need help setting it up and breaking it down.

I think the tent would be too much work to setup/tear down, but if you are going to do it I might suggest only using one half of it. I do think it would look cool on pit road if you opened the wings up though, as long as there is nothing inside that can go missing.

What are your thoughts on raising the boom on the wrecker truck and hanging a flag from it? I will rig something up if you think they would be OK with it.

Good Idea! I'm going to bring just half the tent and make sure everything is secure so I can open her up after the lap. I will keep the Planted Rifle and "America's White Table" memorial/display from the Armed Forces day parade.

Hanging a flag from the boom will be AWESOME!! The 20' flag pole With Old Glory and a POW/MIA flag on the M944 always gets a lot of pictures. There is a good chance youl see your rig on the jumbo-tron.

LEO Support and Porta-Poti

We will be getting some sort of LEO support for the drive from Hendricks to the track more than likely an escort.

the Porta-Poti will cost $115.00. That works out to a little less than $10 a truck provided all the trucks make it. I'm sure some people might reason that they don't have to pay because they won't use it. The fee is nothing considering the Passes are valued over $100.00 each and you will accesses most people can only dream of. If someone defaults I'll have to make it up out of my own pocket. I could spend all my time trying to collect the fees but I'm not going to do this. Please insure you get the money to me before we leave to the track.
