I'll quote the first post from that thread for your convenience...

Hope these links work for you.

It's all banter ... It's so .. garbage ... If you realy interested - I'll show you some real patriotic Russian songs (they are about World War II mostly all)

That would be nice.
I know that the love of music within your country is profound. I have know several gifted musicians from your homeland.
My grandparents from Lithuania gave me an appreciation for the folk music of my heritage. Though not my first choice in styles, it does bring back memories of my ancestors.

USSR, do you have any good, high quality, about 1/4 left side shots of a BTR-80? newest model? I'm looking for one for a comparison to something else I'm working on! Ideally, either about 2-4 steps left of center or straight front and side shot?

You mean BTR 82 or BTR BTR 90 Rostok?

My bad, it's a 70 series, not an 80.

Here's the problem, most of the images I come up with look like this...
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2656/3884001138_4730569a3d.jpg

But what I'm remembering seeing, doesn't look like that at all... I'm wondering if maybe there's a new version? Maybe a Command and Control version? Taller in the front? (like a half meter taller behind the driver's compartment?)

Give your e-mail (PM) - I'll throw off pictures)))

So, friends. The civil war in my country is gaining momentum.
Me "lucky" to be in the center of these events - in Donetsk. Residents and volunteers fighting with the regular army of Ukraine ...
A bit of history. In every city of our country there are monuments tank units from World War II - is T34 tanks, self-propelled guns, KV, IS 2-3 and other ... These tanks are on pedestals in the memory of the fallen heroes ...
Stand at least 50-60 years.
But when to the area started to go army units Ukraine our craftsman rebuilt engine on these tanks and they begin to take part in the fighting ...

Whew ... Living Legends of USSR ...
On the video - locals give live tank IS 3
