Dual Voltage Alternator Install on a Deuce

I read a few threads about this but didn't find any photos or text covering the actual installation. I procured a 12/24 Niehoff unit today and would like to know what I'm getting into. Somebody has to be a better "searcher" than me.

Do you have the 100, 200 or 400 amp?

I just went out to the shop and looked, it's the 200 amp model. Thanks for the thread links Clinto, I had read those. I was really looking for photos of someone that had installed a 200 amp on an A2 Deuce. If this won't work, I'll take it back and just do George's (TM America) add a alternator kit.

It can be done but you will need to make a custom mount bracket. right now I have a 3 1/2" cast iron pulley just till I find a better pulley saw one on a kenworth that might work just need to find a part number for it

Your attachments aren't working. It would be nice to see what you have.

I can view them on my phone and computer. I have no idea why you can't, this is also the first time I tried to attach any pictures not Sure if I even did it right?

Your attachments showed up fine this morning, thank you. I see it will fit...did you have to put an elbow on the water pump connection for the heater?

Neaded elbo to move alt closer to block just to get belt on and it's still a struggle to get belts on

Other than the adjuster(looks pretty easy), can you list off the parts you replaced and/or modified once your happy with the install? I was hoping the 200 would fit, the 100's are rarely popping up anymore.

I have the 100amp one installed I hope you find the info you need thought of doing a thread covering it.I didn't find awhole lot of into either Good luck and post up the install.
