Easiest way to swap bushings?

once all the way down, I cussed for about an hour trying to get the lower bushing, washer, and nut in place. Then tighten both sides.

Was there any trick to this?

I installed the inner tube in the upper bushing.

After you put the weight of the cab on the upper bushing, the bolt and inner tube will hang down a little bit.

Press the lower bushing over the inner tube and it should stay put. Then you just have a big washer an nut to install.

If you had one small hand, like a crab….. or a kid or smaller person, they could hold the washer while you get your first thread started on the nut. I had neither and kept dropping the nut. Use finger tips to get it started.
