Okay, if you have the lines and they are in good shape, I'll pay shipping on them. Also have another question. How important is it to bypass the fdc? Does it really need to be blocked off and bypassed or can it all be hooked up as shown in the diagram? It will only be running diesel fuel.

If it fail it will leak diesel into the crankcase. You can still run alternative fuels with it bypassed.

Okay, so hook it up bypassed? I currently have it hooked up with it bypassed except I do not have the plugs installed yet.

As long as you have the inverted flair plug in the return T at the front of the Head you can run without the FDC plugs for now.

I hooked it all up according to the diagram with the fdc not bypassed

I am going to need 1 of the spacers the hh where the bolt goes on to hold it down. It's missing one of the spacers

Pump currently hooked up with fdc. Sticker is on oil filter saying fdc has been bypassed. So is it safe for it to start and run with the fdc hooked up?

Got it all hooked up. Only thing that isn't hooked up is the fire start because idk where it hooks up too. There's a fitting on the block. Cranked her over and she cranked but have a bad battery. What batteries can be used to replace the giant 6tl batteries or whatever they are.

Would group 31 batteries fit in the tray? Gonna go tomorrow and buy 2 brand new batteries for it. SAMs has Duracell group 31s with 1100cca at 32* for $100 a piece.

Metal or plastic battery box? 31's will fit in a metal box but not the plastic. 24's or 27's would work just fine as well.

I go by reserve capacity, but some go by CCA.

They are junky. Group 27? High cranking amp or high reserve

Measured the existing batteries, 10 inches long. 10 1/2 wide and 9 1/2 tall. Just gotta get something no longer than 10 inches.
