Oil seal mod. for 3053 input shaft

Jeepsinker,

so what hat seal do you think is the right one to use? Steve 6x6x6 made some units and used seal 481163 which is a 2"by 1.5" by .25 " single lip seal. What do you think caused seal failure on your unit? Most differential seals I have seen are single lip seals. Let me know your thoughts.
