Not so much a clone but a government owned blazer.
Probably originally Navy blue.
Ive had 2 of them in the past 350 gas motor ect.
It does have the wider wheels on it, that's a plus.

Yes, please post more pics.
What drivetrain is in it ?
Luckily I got the 6.2

Well for now, gotta get AC in it. And it's going to be my daily. Plan is to build bumpers for it, and move the spare tire rack on a swivel behind tailgate. I guess along the lines of restomod.

I'm currently located in Aledo. Moving to Rhome Ina month

It is the correct colors we called them white tops, they are civilian blazers pressed into service I have a 1990 model. Bet it has a 700r4 transmission. Should be all 12v, maybe up graded with extra alternator for 24v and so forth. Will need to look very carefully at all electrical it will be a mix and match of civilian and military.

Well kinda correct colors bet if you look under dash and other areas you will find shiny dark green paint, lots were carc'd because the shiny needed waxing or it went bad like lots of 90's paint.

It had wiring and a switch for a 24v inverter. And it does have a 700r4 tranny with 3.73 rear-end. Not sure on the front or axles for that matter. Can you share any info you have on the matter?

What color was it originally ?
As mentioned before pics would be great, even under the hood.
Both of the ones I had were navy blue, blue hard tops, no inverter, gas 350, 700r4 trans, 241 t-case, 10 bolts frt & rear, 3:73 gears, I don't remember if either had a govbomb in the back or not. Base model grills with chrome bumpers, narrow 15in steel wheels. Factory heat only, both had aftermarket a/c kits installed.
Might be a southern thing, both of mine were here in Texas or maybe 1 of mine came from Louisiana.

Did you get any info from the previous seller ?
Did you get an SF97 or a title that showed previous owned by the government ?
Again pics would tell us a lot ! Frt, rear, under hood, vin # on dash, ect.
Welcome to the addiction, soon it will be multiplying.

So what actually needs fixed

Just come body work. Needs a driver side rocker panel, a few dents pulled out, and some surface rust. Wanting to get the frame blasted and undercoat. Any idea on what that would cost? Other than that, mechanically, she's sound.

Update. Getting all new exhaust and fluids swapped. When I get her back, I'll be putting in AC and a new rocker panel and patch some holes. And tips for the work to come?

Got the blazer back last night. All new fluids, and a new transmission mount. The rubber/plastic that reduces vibration was literally melting off. Not due to heat alone, but most likely age. Other than that, got a new 3in straight pipe and idk if any of yall have done that, but Jeeslus is she loud.
