I will be putting the canvas on the deuce, unlimbering my cot, and breaking out the old intermediate sleeping bag. If someone procures a community barbeque, I will use it.

Tempted to spend the night but g/f isnt too pleased. Also we got a dog and not sure of the pet policy (also ticks, fleas, etc).

The place had dogs on it when we got there in March. As long as your dog doesn't lift his leg on me or any of my stuff, I don't mind them. Of course, with kids running around a dog might not be the best thing to have.

He's a good dog, hard headed, but none the less a good dog. I'll leave it up to the g/f since its technically hers.

I know I am changing the subject breifly. Sorry. Do you guys know of anyone that is parting out a deuce in our area. I have a bent part #19 in the diagram I am trying fix, it is the bracket that bolts to the transfer case and holds the spring that connects to the top of the outer parkingbrake shoe. I am trying to fix it before our homecoming parade in a few weeks.

PLEASE PM ME WITH ANY REPLIES AND NOT TO THIS THREAD.

Quick update for the rally. I am working with Ft Hood to arrange 1 or 2 helicopters to come out and land at the camp site Saturday. More than likely it will be an AH-64 Apache and possible a CH-47 Chinook. This is still in the works and not a sure thing yet, but wanted everyone to know what may be coming.

They are just gonna fly out right before we convoy into town to eat lunch, then they are gonna hang out with us for a little bit afterwards and let people look at the choppers and take the pilots on some of the trails.
