I would hope 35 since MV speeds require the shortest distance over faster travel roads. Plus, they would make a pretty long line behind them on 21 coming in from Madisonville. Not that the people in Marlin, Calvert and Hearne won't be inconvienenced when they come down 6. At least most of 6 has the passing shoulder and 21 doesn't for that stretch.

I was thinking at Bucee's at 290 and Mueschke in Cypress at 7:30 on Saturday. This is only me thinking and others may have a better idea. If we leave there at 7:30 we should make it to Navasota around 8:45 (I think OLAG89 is coming that way) and then Bryan at 9:45. Don't want to miss the choppers. That's going at a lightning speed of 45mph.

Just my , anybody have any better ideas? I wouldn't have any problems leaving earlier or different location.

I just got word back from the Army and because Steel Soldiers is not Officially Non-profit, they denied the request for the helicopters.

I will set the timex for 8:45 in Navasota anybody have a favorite spot? Our convoy from Houston Armory stopped in navasota, but don't remember where...
How about a head count so we can figure if we need a parking lot or a field?

I submitted the request as a Steel Soldiers' event. Since Steel Soldiers in not listed as Non-Profit, we were denied. I will submit the request for next years event as an MVPA event, since they are listed as Non-Profit.
