That just made my night! You Chucky are a literary master. Almost squirted beer out my nose…..luckily I Hathcocked up and Stormin Normaned through.

Ok…. Maybe my analogies and writing are not as good as yours.

Did you ever find any videos on Hathcock? There are tons of videos on youtube about him .

That thing looks as temporary as I am. Also, never go full retard....
Well the entire OEM heater console is temporary.

My old set of dash fans I had up there had failed, and the two replacements were just sitting in my living room so I wanted to mount them (it's hot down here in Texas at stop lights w/o a fan the the M1079 is my daily driver and I'd been meaning to do it since they came in). The OEM heater was pretty rusty and missing the big wire plug in the top (and I know that's a $300 plastic part at <insert_point_of_compass_surplus_scalpers_here>. So I tossed a piece of wood up there to mount the fans on.. While I was at it I actually made a matching covering the top of the fuse panel lid, it's just not in the pic. Ghetto as-f as I said, but for a 10 minute job it came out better than expected.

But all temporary.

Speaking of going full retard....

I'm laying out a custom dash that will include the ac/heater/stereo/nav center/PDP access/nice leather cap/etc. And I'll do it for a tiny fraction of what folks are asking for the AC evap along.

If you've ever looked inside the heater or A/C module, you know there is absolutely nothing to them. Just some sheet metal screwed together. I can make a far nicer and more functional unit that makes better use of the center space and hump notch.

I look at the people who go to <insert_point_of_compass_scalpers_here> and spend thousands and thousands on a $200 gen 2 a/c evap then thousands more on a $20 ugly-ass hump console. I'm pretty sure that I'm not the one who's gone full retard...

;p

I also ghettoed -up the interior with a piece of vinyl that matches the seats. Just experimenting (it's all temporary).

A picture to the traind eye can tell us many things about the unsub and this picture raises many many red flags about the owner of this crime scene depicted here! 1. This unsubs neighbors hate him! 2. This unsub doesent own or attempt to poses a hedge trimmer and if he does he must be practically blind and maybe missing one maybe 2 arms/hands from the looks of that bush in front of the truck 3. In this unsubs world its all about him notice both fans pointed at him nothing for the passenger 4. unsub may have mommy issues causeing him to lash out at the barbie doll on the dash and glue extra large cones over the dolls breast sighting some disturbing behavior towards plastic/rubber dolls of all sises 5.The unsub never takes his victoms anywhere in this truck while they are conscious hence no wiper blade or arm on passenger side . 6.unsub has never held a job as a upholsterer hence the sheet metal screws through the upholstery with washers on the dash. 7. The unsub has no room anywhere on his dash to mount the new slope angle device on the way from amazon but still unwilling to share with other members of the community 8.What you cant see in the picture but under investigation the stolen seats from the handicap nursing home shuttle bus are now bolted in the unsubs mobil crime scene and that piece of upholstery on the dash is the result of the unsub violent assault of the poor elderly people cluthing for dear life to the door panels while this unsub drug them down the street till their lifeless little boney fingers released for the last time so he could craft that dash mat .It seems to be some kind of trophy in his sociopathic state 9. There are reports of this truck being seen trying to run down homeless people on the sidewalk sleeping in makeshift shopping carts reportedly cursing and throwing empty cold beer bottles at the elederly and homeless while tearing thru tent city under the bridge in past evenings and theres been reports of same subject lurking around the beach areas at night after his crime sprees offering young women alchoholic beverages and other things . I0. If you come into contact with this subject do not try to engage in eye or verbal contact just report the sighting to local law enforcement in your area .

1) True, but they hate me less since I got the second LMTV moved from the street in front of my house.

2) Actually, I'm constructing a hedgerow. There's a civil war coming, you know. I'm building that.

3) Only aimed for testing. The dog always gets one fan.

4) Don't make fun of Jessica!!!! She "jiggles" good.

5) All three arms are there (the driver side is just out of view).

6 ) Guilty.

7) Not in the temporary layout. The custom dash will include many built-in displays and goodies.

8 ) No comment.

9) Shopping carts are worth not only points when you flatten them, but for every one I pry from some derelict's hands there is a return reward. Plus my actions encourage the bums to leave for greener pastures (like CA).

10) Good thing I'm not with local law enforcement, huh.

:)

I don't mean to brag, but I am pretty sure I can out-retard all of you....

Your observation that there is little inside the center console is 100% true and now my head is swimming with possibilities. Thanks for that.....

If any of you guys have an LMTV or an MTV that has or had a vinyl storage container that came with the truck, mounted behind the passengers seat to the roof, over the radio mount;, I found a replacement cheap. They were $30.00 & now marked down to $13.50 & the two I got were brand new, never been out of the shipping container. SMG is where I got mine.

The M-1081 came with one, but it is not in the greatest of shape. The new ones are just that, brand new. Thought I would share that tidbit with you guys.

What do you do with them? Put your jacket in it or anything under 20 lbs as they are marked for that.
