I didn't know I needed a wrecker until I read this thread just now.... I can't wait to tell my wife.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!
Im no mormon either, just a back row baptist from the hills of appalachia. I like having plenty of store on hand, as its 65 miles to the closest wal mart to the east, and 75 miles to the west (north/south,,, we just wont go there).
Jeepsinker, just wondering:View attachment 549363I got mine stuck on a pipeline after using it to rescue a family friend's son's 4x4. Got his truck out at 3:23 pm, got my wrecker stuck on the way out, was out until 4:37 am getting it out. Broke one front shackle mount, three straps, two chains, driver windshield in the wrecker, the front winch driveshaft came apart, and ruined the front winch cable and bent the winch cross flats.... Would have been nice to have a spotter than knew how to watch a winch cable.
Jeep, go into the picture, edit, crop, save, post. Even just a tiny crop tells the phone which way to post the picture. No idea why it works but it does.Funny guys... Funny. No I didn't roll it over, the pics just post upside down from my phone.
Not a problem; I can see it all just fine:I have an IPhone 4, it won't let me do any of that, or I can't figure out how to do it.
Any particular reason you used the crane to pull the shed onto the trailer or is the main drag winch not clear on the pic and you were "steering" the shed with the crane?View attachment 549730....... then came back for our 10x20 building that was fully loaded.
That trailer looks nice an flat behind the wrecker, which one is it? it sits perfectly even with the high Pintle unless you modified something....View attachment 549729View attachment 549730Was moving day so the 936 got a workout. Moved my boys pirate ship swing set first , then came back for our 10x20 building that was fully loaded.
How did you manage that pull without tearing the shed all apart?View attachment 549730Was moving day so the 936 got a workout. Moved my boys pirate ship swing set first , then came back for our 10x20 building that was fully loaded.

Were you pulling from some "girders" in the flooring?
I used the crane so to lift up on the building to start it on the trailer and also helped steer it to keep it straight. I had the building built on 4x4 runners so it could be moved. We notched the 4x4's where each floor joist met it so there would be equal pressure on the whole floor.
